Responsibilities
Conduct advanced research on structured and unstructured data to develop insights supporting product strategy and new product development
Contribute to the design, development, evaluation, and deployment of machine learning models, including credit risk and predictive models
Serve as the team’s subject matter expert on GenAI/LLMs , including fine-tuning, adaptation, explainability, and compliance considerations
Drive pilot program analyses, including back-testing, rejection inference , and performance measurement using diverse data sources
Improve and maintain model monitoring processes and develop compelling dashboards/visualizations to communicate key results to stakeholders
Partner with engineers to operationalize models into production systems, ensuring scalability and resilience at high data and inference volumes
Research and apply emerging AI/ML and GenAI/LLM methods, tools, and best practices
Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, presentations, and internal/external insights
Qualification
Required
Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (Data Science, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or related discipline)
3+ years of professional experience in advanced analytics, AI/ML/LLM, and data science in research and/or corporate environments
Strong proficiency in Python for data science and machine learning workflows
Proven experience applying machine learning techniques (classification, clustering, regression, neural networks) for predictive and risk modeling
Strong track record of research, analysis, and creating clear, impactful presentations or publications
Experience delivering insights that drive measurable business impact
Experience working in Agile and cross-functional environments
Preferred
Deep expertise in GenAI, including NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs) (training, fine-tuning, evaluation, explainability, deployment)
Deep expertise in advanced ML techniques (self-supervised learning, training optimization, explainability), ideally within credit scoring or risk modeling
Experience with modern ML/AI tools and infrastructure (e.g., PyTorch, AWS, and related tooling)
Experience delivering scalable AI/ML solutions integrated into production platforms
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and comfort solving ambiguous problems creatively
Exceptional communication skills across technical and business audiences
Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to challenge the status quo while championing innovation
