Responsibilities
Act as project manager for geotechnical and geological investigations
Oversee all aspects of field investigations and earthworks construction support including: site reconnaissance and research; borehole logging and in-situ sampling; laboratory testing; soil classification; and geotechnical analyses, as well as development of design parameters and recommendations
Qualification
Required
earned a BS in Civil Engineering
familiar with earthwork/grading and foundation construction
Strong skills in Project Management, Project Engineering, and Project Planning
Proficiency in Communication, including written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively on-site and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
Experience in geotechnical investigations, construction inspection, and soils testing
Preferred
an emphasis in geotechnical is preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
Working knowledge or experience in the utility market (e.g. energy market) is an advantage
