The role involves assisting employees contacting the Emergency Hotline, providing situational awareness, and monitoring various sources for incidents that may impact operations.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Answering Emergency Hotline calls and gathering information from employees
Completing Intake Forms as per standards and submitting the electronic form to engage proper teams to assist callers
Situational Awareness of events and incidents that could cause an impact to people or operations
Monitoring of Best Buy facilities for burglary or damage through CCTV and may include Electrical and HVAC systems
Complete daily reporting as per SOP
Escalation to appropriate authorities or Best Buy teams should suspicious activity occur
Qualification
Required
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to focus and multi-task
High school diploma or GED required
1-2 years call center or customer service experience required
Preferred
Basic call center experience preferred
A strong work ethic with a solid record of dependability is crucial
Broad retail experience is beneficial
Communication skills across a variety of channels including Outlook, Teams, Phones, etc
