Draft, develop, and refine handbag and leather goods patterns
Execute full samples with a high level of craftsmanship
Review and test constructions, making pattern adjustments as needed
Lead and support small batch productions in studio
Ensure patterns are accurate, repeatable, and production ready
Collaborate closely with designers and studio leadership on construction solutions
Maintain studio standards for build quality, efficiency, and organization
Qualification
Required
Strong experience patterning handbags and leather goods
Excellent hand skills and machine sewing ability
Proficiency in Optitex for digital pattern development
Deep understanding of handbag construction and materials
Ability to problem solve independently and work collaboratively
Experience in luxury, atelier, or small batch production environments
Must be able to work on site in New York City
