Responsibilities

Provide oversight for all technical issues related to sites and new projects for the APM rail systems and subsystems
Perform failure analysis on APM systems and subsystems. Review failure reports, identify trends and develop processes to alleviate and minimize recurring failures. Develop the repair/recovery plans and communicate plans to technical staff
Coordinate with Engineering staff to resolve technical issues requiring documentation or drawing changes to ensure consistency throughout the organization
Provide technical interface ensuring the proper updates of information and the timely communication of information to staff
Coordinate with Engineering staff, suppliers, and/or subcontractors to develop project proposals, schedules, Operations & Maintenance plans and/or other related documents
Update Operations and Maintenance manuals, Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), and other documents ensuring completion and timely update of changes
Provide technical training on any elements or characteristics of the APM subsystems. Communicate recommended or mandated changes in procedures or maintenance activities to technical and supervisory staff. Identify need for and facilitate additional training as procedures change
Develop and manage technical training programs ensuring completion of training schedules, adherence to schedules and documentation of training
Provide oversight for Maintenance work quality, schedule, and budget
Oversee the availability and procurement of spare parts and consumables
Assist with developing and maintaining the annual budget for spare parts and consumables
Oversee the maintenance of equipment

This position will have supervisory responsibilities
Prior APM/transportation experience is great but also very open to other industries such as: aerospace, automotive, subway/train, any guided transportation system, airport ground systems & aviation infrastructure, industrial automation & manufacturing systems, elevator, escalator & vertical transportation, theme park & amusement ride engineering, heavy industrial equipment & mobile machinery, power generation & energy infrastructure, automated parking systems, maritime & port operations / terminal automation, building automation & facilities engineering, oil & gas downstream facilities, utilities & water/wastewater treatment, data center infrastructure engineering, mining operations & processing facilities, defense ground systems & test facilities, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) any industry where you have worked with industrial automation & controls/PLC/SCADA or very similar where safety is a critical aspect of the role
Prior use of complicated drawings, a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and knowledge of electromechanical equipment and processes required
Prior project management and/or quality control experience required
Must be licensed to operate a motor vehicle, and have a satisfactory driving record
Must be able to secure and maintain airport security clearance
Must be able to pass post offer criminal background check
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English language fluently
Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering and/or equivalent experience required
Company requires copy of acquired degree and or certification prior to the employment
