Responsibilities
Assist with maintaining and optimizing frontend features using React 19, TypeScript, Vite, Three.js
Help debug and enhance backend services using Python 3.12, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy ORM, Pydantic, and Alembic
Support database tasks with PostgreSQL (Docker dev; Azure production) and deployment via Docker, Azure Container Registry/Instances, and Azure DevOps
Contribute to various web application upkeep, including real-time calculations, 2D/3D visualizations, document generation, and workflow integrations
Work on internal applications using React/TypeScript frontend and C#/SQL Server backend
Participate in testing, code reviews, and learning best practices for security and performance
Provide updates through video/chat/teams
Qualification
Required
0-2 years of development experience or equivalent (e.g., personal projects, coursework); college students/recent grads encouraged
Basic proficiency in React/TypeScript and Python (FastAPI a plus); willingness to learn the full stack quickly
Familiarity with or interest with PostgreSQL, Docker, Azure, Three.js, or React Query
Relentless drive with a high-intensity work ethic, thriving in demanding scenarios
Proactive and initiative-driven, able to start and own tasks independently
Excellent communicator, with strong written and verbal skills for remote collaboration
Not afraid to fail fast, learn from setbacks, and iterate rapidly
Strong remote work ethic and ability to learn independently in a small team
Good problem-solving skills and very high emphasis on attention to detail
US work authorization (no sponsorship)
Preferred
Based in or near Nashville, TN (preferred; open to other US timezones)
Experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server, or related technologies
Portfolio, GitHub projects, or classwork demonstrating relevant skills
Experience with structural engineering a large plus
