Responsibilities
Maintaining and improving our deployment pipeline
Ensuring that our software can be deployed smoothly and efficiently to both cloud infrastructure and on-premise environments
Collaborating with the engineering team to properly track dependencies and apply upgrades to software components and operating systems as needed
Creating and maintaining documentation for the release process
Coordinating with stakeholders, including developers and testers, to ensure that the release process is running smoothly
Setting up and configuring continuous integration, testing, and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the build and deployment process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience or software development or related fields
Experience developing for Linux/Unix/Windows OS
3+ years' experience in software/build/release engineering for multi-tier, highly scalable applications
Experience with Git
Experience with Python and Bash scripting
Experience with one or more databases: MySQL, Postgres, etc
Experience with Docker or other container technologies
Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with a high degree of professionalism
A high degree of flexibility and creativity
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
Strong problem-solving skills
