Responsibilities
Will learn to perform a variety of tasks such as monitoring, reading, and recording test data for a variety of navigational, inertial measurement, and guidance units that are undergoing testing
Must have the ability to learn how to start automated and manual test setups from training and by using procedures to ensure proper testing of each unit
Will learn the proper handling, mounting, and testing of units, which includes the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated hand tools, power decade boxes, and various other test equipment
Must have the ability to pick up on test processes quickly and efficiently
Capacity to learn to read and understand schematic drawings
Familiarity with standard test lab concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field—such as 5S, FOD (Foreign Object Detection), and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices
Relies on learned experiences, judgment, and skills to plan and accomplish goals
Works under the supervision of a Test Lead or Test Engineer
Typically reports to a Test Lead or Test Engineer
Qualification
Required
