Responsibilities
Lead interconnection activities from mid‑stage studies through COD across utilities and ISOs
Manage ICX study schedules, planning, model submissions (RARF/QSA/PLD), and technical reviews
Coordinate with utilities/ISOs and internal teams (ENGI, DEV, Construction, Compliance, PDM, IT) to maintain milestones and ensure project deliverables
Oversee technical studies including SSR, short‑circuit, reactive power, and commissioning dynamic models
Review and execute interconnection agreements, scopes, and required updates following design changes
Support post‑COD operations with technical due diligence, compliance inputs, and evaluation of BESS integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Power Systems specialization preferred
3–5 years' experience with transmission‑connected inverter‑based generation
2+ years' experience with TARA, PSSE, PSLF (steady‑state, AC contingency analysis)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Master's degree in renewable energy, grid operations, or electrical power systems is a plus
Professional Engineer (PE) license in power systems highly valued
2+ years of PSCAD modeling preferred
Knowledge of Aspen, PowerWorld, AutoCAD is a plus
