Responsibilities
Advise on land use and zoning matters, including:
Zoning and entitlement analysis
Administrative proceedings and hearings
Drafting submissions and letters to decision-makers
Handle land use and CEQA litigation, including:
Petitions and writs of mandate
Opening, opposition, and reply briefs
Work directly with clients, agencies, and stakeholders
Play a visible role in complex, high-profile development matters
Qualification
Required
3+ years of relevant land use experience (open to more senior profiles)
Hands-on experience with zoning and entitlement processes
Hands-on experience with administrative land use matters
Hands-on experience with writs of mandate and related litigation
CEQA familiarity is essential
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
Demonstrated career stability and interest in a long-term platform
California Bar required
