Google is seeking a Facilities Engineer for their Raxium Facility and Equipment team, which maintains a broad range of semiconductor and facility equipment. The engineer will support wafer fab operations by collaborating with contractors and process engineers to maintain and improve cleanroom facility support equipment.

Responsibilities

Support tool and equipment installations, modifications, improvements, repairs, and maintenance
Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs of cleanroom support and facility equipment
Own the development of preventive maintenance procedures, schedules, and training of critical tools
Work closely with process and equipment engineering to improve equipment performance
Support and improve RODI, PVAC, CDA, LN2, PCW, HVAC, and gas distribution systems

Required

Associate's degree/Trade School completion or equivalent experience
5 years of experience working in a semiconductor fab in a facility, equipment, or maintenance engineering role
Experience working with wafer fab support equipment, PCW, PVAC, HVAC, RODI, LN2, or gas distribution equipment
Experience in wafer fab support/facility equipment maintenance and repair

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
10 years of experience working in semiconductor manufacturing
Experience using environmental, electrical, or industrial control systems
Experience in AutoCAD, designing layouts and tooling, and interpreting equipment schematics
