Experienced BAS Field Service Engineer
Honeywell is a leader in automation and energy solutions, and they are seeking an Experienced BAS Field Service Engineer. In this role, you will commission, service, and optimize building automation systems across various commercial facilities, working closely with engineers, contractors, and customers to ensure seamless system integration and performance.

Responsibilities
Commission Honeywell BAS solutions by installing pre-engineered software, performing system checkouts, and ensuring accurate system operation per specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, including redesign or re-engineering when needed
Execute open system and third-party integrations across multiple protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON)
Drive continuous improvement in commissioning practices by leveraging Honeywell Operating System techniques and productivity tools
Collaborate with contractors, customers, and design/engineering teams to ensure proper scope alignment, hardware/software configuration, graphics, and as-built documentation
Support project and sales teams by conducting surveys, identifying retrofit opportunities, and presenting high-level integrated solutions to customers and consultants
Perform hazard and risk assessments in line with Honeywell safety policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain clear, accurate documentation and project records throughout the lifecycle
Qualification
Required
5 or more years of hands-on experience with HVAC control systems, mechanical systems operation, and building facilities
Experience with building systems, programming, computers, and general networking
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with a record that meets Honeywell standards
Preferred
Experience with fire and security building automation systems
Niagara N4 certification and practical expertise
Advanced technical degree or HVAC license
Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Expert knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical operations
Advanced networking and integration skills across common BAS protocols
