New GradClimate Placement Project is dedicated to helping individuals find their place in the climate change field by providing credible educational resources. The Volunteer Content Reviewer/Curator will review, evaluate, and organize content to maintain a trustworthy library that supports public engagement and learning about climate issues.

Responsibilities
Review articles, reports, and resources to ensure they meet CPP’s standards, including:
Link works and content is accessible (no paywalls or required memberships)
Information is well-researched and sourced from credible organizations or publications
Writing is clear and understandable for a general audience
Content is current and relevant
Information is factual, balanced, and non-sensational
Article contributes meaningfully to climate understanding or action
Using CPP’s evaluation criteria, the volunteer will:
Flag low-quality, outdated, or misleading material
Identify strengths and weaknesses of each article
Help tag and categorize approved content (e.g., education, ecosystems, careers, volunteering, policy)
Assist in organizing resources within CPP’s database or spreadsheet format
Suggest improvements to structure or labeling for clarity and usability
Coordinate periodically with CPP leadership on content priorities
Provide feedback on how content could better support public engagement and learning
Qualification
Required
Curiosity, discernment, and a genuine interest in climate topics
Ability to review articles, reports, and resources to ensure they meet CPP's standards
Ability to ensure link works and content is accessible (no paywalls or required memberships)
Ability to ensure information is well-researched and sourced from credible organizations or publications
Ability to ensure writing is clear and understandable for a general audience
Ability to ensure content is current and relevant
