Instrument Tech I PRN - RME
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is a collaborative health care organization focused on improving patient care. The Instrument Tech I PRN will be responsible for decontaminating, assembling, inspecting, packaging, testing, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment while assisting the operating room staff as needed.

Performs decontamination, assembly, and packaging of medical equipment and tools
Provides assistance to operating room staff
Provides staff with necessary supplies and/or equipment
Loads up and transports medical instruments and equipment
Ensures proper storage of instrumentation
Performs tests on and utilizes mechanical equipment in the completion of duties
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma/GED
Preferred
One year of experience as an Instrument Tech or recent certification as an Instrument Tech
Certified Instrument Tech
License or Certificate (see special instructions for submission instructions)
List of three Professional References (name, email, business title)
