Responsibilities
Design, develop, and commission industrial control systems, including PLC software and HMI screens, across various industries and environments
Develop PLC/HMI code, install and debug software on-site, and commission complete control systems
Program peripheral devices and machine PLCs
Coordinate machine debugging, power-up, and validation activities in collaboration with build and electrical teams
Ensure all systems are designed and programmed according to customer requirements and build specifications, using standard engineering practices and methodologies
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, including PLC and HMI programming
Proven experience working with stamping systems
Preferred
Experience with GCCS Standards
Experience with GM stamping operations
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred fields include Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline)
Equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree
