Time / Leave and LOA Specialist
The N.C. Department of Information Technology is seeking a Time / Leave and LOA Specialist to join their Human Resources Division. This role involves managing the time and leave functions for the Judicial Branch and providing customer service to over 7000 employees regarding leave policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Audit time/leave entry in the Integrated HR/Payroll System (formerly BEACON) and ensure accurate records for all employees
Serve as the LOA lead, process all LOA actions and associated documentation with those actions
Conduct training for MSS/time approver roles
Consult with employees, administrators, and elected officials
Provide technical support to Judicial Branch customers on time and leave functions in the Integrated HR/Payroll system
Manage and process time/leave changes and quota corrections
Interpret time/leave policies and procedures and research, audit, and resolve time/leave issues
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from a four-year college or university, with course work applicable to human resources management
One (1) year of experience in the application and interpretation of salary administration or employment policies standards and guidelines
An equivalent combination of training and experience
Preferred
Experience working in a large enterprise (1,000+ employees) human resources office with responsibility for administering and interpreting pay/time/leave policies and procedures
NC state government experience
Experience with functional roles within an Integrated HR/Payroll system (not Employee Self Service)
Integrated HR/Payroll/SAP experience
