Responsibilities
Provide Pre-Sales Technical Support & Solution Design
Consult with sales teams and clients to assess needs, design complex data center solutions (Networking, Servers, Storage), and create deliverables such as BoMs, configurations, and technical comparisons
Maintain Certifications & Technical Expertise
Keep baseline industry certifications current across multiple technology platforms and utilize partner tools to develop optimal solutions
Collaboration & Mentorship
Coordinate with Account Executives and other engineers to uncover opportunities, strategize solutions, and mentor Level 1 & 2 Pre-Sales Engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (or equivalent experience) plus 5–7 years in pre-sales or similar technical roles
Generalist-level pre-sales skills across data center technologies (Server, Storage, Virtualization, Data Protection, Security) and ability to design and demo solutions
Multiple current certifications from vendors such as HPE, Dell EMC, NetApp, VMware, Symantec, Palo Alto, Veeam, Commvault, Nutanix, Pure Storage, RedHat, and others as specified for data center, networking, and data protection solutions
