Responsibilities
Operates hand and riding mowers to cut playing fields, park areas or golf course
Operates string trimmers for weedwacking
Performs manual labor in tasks such as field lining, weeding, raking, and fence repair
Assists in tree planting and facility repairs
Performs routine tasks such as emptying garbage cans, picking up litter, and checking parks equipment for safety hazards
Sees that all equipment is cleaned and returned to proper location after use
Qualification
Required
Connecticut motor vehicle operator's license is required with at least 6 months driving experience
Ability to carry out instructions given in written or verbal form
Aptitude to learn skills to operate equipment
Ability to lift objects and/or carry objects weighing from 25 to 50 pounds
