Information Technology Support Specialist

They are seeking a customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join the on-site technical support team, responsible for ensuring smooth and reliable day-to-day IT operations for employees.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and OS issues efficiently
Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS systems and enterprise applications
Support network connectivity issues and assist with basic server-related tasks
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
Document issues, resolutions, and workflows in the ticketing system
Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and equipment recovery
Track and maintain IT asset inventory
Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and best practices

Required

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
2+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support roles
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments
Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple support requests
Proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
