Process Engineer - Grand Prairie, TX - Local Candidates Only - Up to $110k - Day Shift - URGENT
Confidential company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join their manufacturing facility in Grand Prairie, TX. The Process Engineer will enhance process efficiency, ensure quality standards, and support the development of innovative manufacturing solutions, while leading high-impact process improvement projects.

Responsibilities
Lead high-impact process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)
Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events to drive rapid improvement
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project success and organizational impact
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure sustainability
Develop new processes, assess and document new and existing processes
Implement and evaluate changes to existing processes designed to improve product quality, productivity, and overall equipment efficiency
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel
Develop and maintain process documentation ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees
Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes, improve yield and throughput, drive cost reduction activities, and improve on part quality
Implement technical solutions including statistical methodology to meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations
Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental and ergonomics efforts
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in Plastics, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required
Must have at least 3-5 years of practical work experience in Plastic Molding, Aluminum Tube Bending, and Robotics operation
Strong and diverse technical background in plastic molding processing, tooling, equipment, materials, manufacturing and quality
Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt or Green Belt Certification, Root Cause Analysis
Self-starter. Must be able to work with little direction and with a high level of self-motivation
Ability to manage multiple start-up projects
Demonstrated superior communication (written and verbal), teamwork and organizational skills
Excellent computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
Demonstrated ability to think outside-the-box and recommend options
Ability to lead others, responsibility may include indirect supervision of process technicians
Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
Knowledge of process engineering software systems
Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations
Experience working with AutoCAD, Solidworks, Prototyping
Demonstrated continuous improvement success
