Responsibilities

Lead process reviews, audits, and assessments of skilled nursing billing in communities, and provide actionable feedback and best practices
Stay current with—and help implement—federal, state, and local healthcare billing regulations
Develop and maintain engaging, effective billing training materials for a wide audience, from frontline staff to corporate leadership
Analyze accounts receivable trends and collaborate to drive improvement through strategic guidance and training
Work with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue cycle software and support billing excellence
Review denials, ADRs, and appeals to pinpoint opportunities for process or educational improvement
Serve as a skilled nursing billing subject matter expert during onboarding and exit activities for communities
Research evolving government payer guidelines to keep training and processes fully compliant
Participate in committee and task force work that supports company initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree preferred, with at least 6 years of related experience (senior living billing strongly preferred)

Analytical mindset—able to interpret data and make recommendations
Strong collaboration skills and commitment to high standards of integrity, honesty, and transparency
