Accounting Manager

Responsibilities
Oversee all daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP
Lead the month‑end and year‑end close processes within a 2‑week cycle
Review and prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and internal reporting packages
Manage general ledger activity, fixed assets, accruals, and account reconciliations
Maintain and optimize the chart of accounts across multiple divisions
Strengthen internal controls and standardize accounting procedures
Partner cross‑functionally to streamline workflows and support scalable growth
Work extensively with large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, or similar)
Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting support, and analytical projects
Research and resolve complex accounting issues in a timely manner
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to support professional growth and high performance
Foster a collaborative, communicative, and supportive team environment
Encourage accountability, continuous improvement, and best‑practice discipline
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
5–7 years of progressive corporate accounting experience, including some leadership experience
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting
Hands‑on experience with general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Experience with multi‑entity or multi‑division reporting
Proficiency with large accounting/ERP systems
Preferred
CPA certification or active candidacy
Experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar data tools
Experience in public accounting or audit
Experience supporting forecasting or financial modeling
