Account Executive

Beth Ward Studios is a design studio and importer selling to some of the nation’s largest specialty chains. They are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and trend-savvy Account Executive to manage and grow several strategic client accounts, overseeing the full account lifecycle while ensuring high client satisfaction and sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

Create and deliver on sales budgets
Identify white space with strategic and operational plans to optimize account performance
Serve as the main point of contact internally and externally for assigned accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and revenue growth
Develop customer-specific strategies that maximize sales potential and margin
Manage customer communications on order status, costing, deliveries, approvals, and development updates
Prospect and pursue new opportunities within existing and potential accounts
Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform presentations and product strategy
Schedule, prepare, and lead seasonal market meetings, chase meetings, and quarterly reviews
Present new product concepts, best seller updates, and trend-driven assortments
Deliver customer-specific trend forecasting, mood boards, and assortment strategies
Provide proactive, timely communication with all client inquiries
Critical and creative thinking to continuously evolve, innovate product and processes and ways of working to achieve the best results possible and create a win-win for all involved
Partner with Design to provide client feedback, trend direction, and SKU plans for development
Work closely with PD and Production to manage timelines, approvals, costing, and QC resolutions
Oversee Sales Assistants/Interns on administrative tasks, PO handovers, and tracker updates
Facilitate internal meetings to align Design, PD, and Production on seasonal priorities and client needs
Ensure prototypes, costing, and samples align with client requirements and BWS goals
Manage internal and client-facing trackers for accuracy on costing, delivery, approvals, and factory info
Oversee PP/TOP approvals, troubleshooting issues with PD and Production as needed
Support sourcing, packaging development, and open-line product opportunities
Anticipate and resolve risks around late deliveries or production extensions
Refresh showroom displays and customer assortments seasonally
Lead trend workshops, forecast reviews, and internal seasonal kickoffs
Conduct adoption rate analysis, annual forecasts, and weekly account sales reviews
Collaborate with broader sales team to identify cross-account opportunities

Required

Proven experience in account management or sales within fashion, jewelry, or accessories
Strong trend awareness and ability to translate insights into actionable product strategies
Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven success leading client-facing meetings
Highly organized with advanced skills in MD-Dynamics, Excel, Google Docs, and presentation building
Ability to manage multiple accounts with diverse timelines and approval processes
Strong collaboration skills with Design, PD, and Production teams
Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
