Responsibilities

Serve as the primary finance contact for strategy creation, project pipeline assessment, and decision-making support to the Programs and Functional Leadership
Leverage scenario modeling, NPV/ROI analysis, and strategic fit analysis to develop a strong portfolio of projects and provide recommendations
Critical thinking and analysis required to challenge cost and savings assumptions
Develop and maintain financial models, trends, and study subjects such as rates of return, working capital, cash flow, investments, etc
Drive, implement, and support continuous improvements in reporting processes to focus on value creation activities
Support annual strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Prepare presentations of financial results for Monthly Financial Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Program reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

Strong ability to partner with senior leadership and others, facilitates decision-making activities, builds relationship networks at all levels, and leads change
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to identify key trends and drivers and the proven experience translating financial data into meaningful, concise information
Strong quantitative and analytical skills for creating actionable insights and analysis
Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel modeling experience and PowerPoint. This includes creating pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, NPV/IRR, and other complex functions
Experience operating in a complex matrixed environment and interacting across levels and organizations
Good judgment, problem-solving skills, tact, and discretion in identifying and resolving issues within established guidelines
Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence management skills
MBA or Advanced Degree
Operations Finance experience
Cost Accounting experience
Experience with Medtronic financial systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Planisware
