Responsibilities
Develop and execute reliability test plans (HTOL, HAST, Temp Cycle, ESD, Latch-Up, etc.) for new and existing semiconductor products
Analyze failure data and perform root cause analysis using techniques such as FMEA, Weibull analysis, and fault tree analysis
Collaborate with design and process engineers to improve product robustness and manufacturing yield
Ensure compliance with JEDEC, AEC-Q100, and other relevant reliability standards
Support qualification of new technologies, materials, and suppliers through reliability assessments
Maintain and improve reliability databases and reporting systems
Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and external customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
5+ years of experience in reliability engineering within the semiconductor industry
Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, failure mechanisms, and reliability testing methodologies
Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) and reliability modeling
Experience with lab equipment such as thermal chambers, probe stations, and failure analysis tools (e.g., SEM, X-ray, curve tracers)
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with automotive-grade semiconductor reliability (AEC-Q100)
Familiarity with advanced packaging technologies (e.g., 2.5D/3D IC, flip-chip)
Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other quality systems
