Responsibilities
Builds strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across Greystar to advance talent and succession practices
Partners with business leaders to understand business needs, identify leadership roles and capabilities needed for today and the future, and help business leaders purposefully and intentionally plan for movement within leadership roles that support business plans and meets business needs
Conducts analyses on talent assessment and succession results; interpret results to uncover skill levels, competency proficiency and gaps, talent risk, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous development solutions to drive business results and grow the business
Works collaboratively with colleagues to design, develop and deliver a variety of career and professional development programs including, but not limited to coaching programs, competency skill development, leadership development, and individual career development
Influences decision-makers across all levels to maximize organizational effectiveness
Actively collaborates on cross-functional teams and/or committees demonstrating the courage to be a guardian of the culture, and Greystar’s leadership principles and talent practices
Maintains knowledge of industry trends, concepts, technology, and techniques for delivering highly effective talent management and succession efforts
Partners with business leaders to provide coaching and support in implementing Greystar’s core leadership principles, talent and succession practices, tools, and processes to support the continued development and growth of their teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years demonstrated experience in the practice of effective organizational talent management and succession practices that build bench strength and drive outcome-based development within promotion pipelines
5+ years demonstrated experience in the practice, facilitation, and coaching of talent review discussions with senior leader teams
Effectively work in a blended (virtual/face-to-face) and fast-paced matrixed environment
Demonstrated experience in strategic and innovative thinking, critical analysis, project management, coaching, consulting, stakeholder management, organizational development, and continuous improvement
Demonstrated experience with Workday Talent, Succession, and Performance. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Lists, Forms, Teams, preferred experience with Power App
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to adapt to diverse audiences
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in a blended environment
Ability to create, maintain, and support trusted and valuable partnerships and promote and foster collaboration and teamwork
Experience balancing multiple projects and related tasks at one time
Able to manage detailed processes and data without losing sight of the bigger picture
Ability to manage administrative responsibilities related to the execution and delivery of succession and development programs
Spirit of curiosity and a growth mindset
Exhibits high emotional intelligence including personal leadership, self-awareness, adaptability, resilience, and consensus building
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Skillful in managing and navigating change related to both existing and new programs/initiatives

Preferred
Experience with interpreting multi-rater assessment tools
Experience coaching and facilitating with DISC and MBTI instruments
