Responsibilities
Provide financial analysis, budgeting and pricing support to firm's pricing and billing teams
Utilize existing models and develop new models to prepare legal matter budget estimates
Analyze and maintain client fee agreements and work with the billing team to answer any rate related inquiries
Ensure client and matter fee arrangements are implemented accurately
Analyze pricing provisions and make recommendations for potential revisions
Analyze and develop matter, portfolio and client reports
Interact with attorneys regarding fee arrangements, pricing, budgeting, and reporting
Perform custom rate analysis required for RFP responses and client negotiations
Collaborate with partners to update client level arrangements and agreements
Assist with the annual review of firm standard rates
Contribute to best practices, process improvements and automation projects
Complete ad hoc projects as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of financial analysis, budget analysis or pricing analysis experience
Advanced Excel skills; SQL experience is a plus
Advanced analytical skills with ability to analyze and synthesize complex data
Highly motivated and detail oriented
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
Strong project management skills
Preferred
Legal industry experience is a plus
