Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive Key Account strategy that aligns with 3M’s overall business objectives and drives sustainable revenue growth
Serve as the primary relationship owner for Key Account channel partner
Develop annual joint business plans (JBP) with revenue, margin, product mix, and marketing objectives
Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to track performance and align on corrective actions
Negotiate pricing, rebates, MDF/co-op funds, and incentive programs ensuring ROI and compliance
Plan and execute co-marketing campaigns, promotions, and events
Enable partner sales teams via training, demos, and content/toolkits
Expand channel rep mindshare coverage by identifying and onboarding high-potential reps and/or branches
Map whitespace opportunities; create segment-specific/geographic plays to win
Coordinate with field sales, inside sales, and technical specialists to accelerate end-user demand
Analyze POS/sell-through, category trends, and competitive moves
Provide actionable insights to marketing, product, and leadership for portfolio and GTM improvements
Measure program ROI and optimize investments based on data-driven performance
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate key account performance

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Seven (7) years of experience in sales, channel management, distribution strategy, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth in a private, public, government or military environment

Preferred

Master's degree from an accredited institution
Strong understanding of various distribution models and channel dynamics, with the ability to adapt strategies to different markets and customer segments
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data driven approach to decision-making
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
A proactive and strategic mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
Hands-on experience negotiating and managing complex contracts (pricing, rebates)
Thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment; resilient, self-directed, and execution-focused
