Responsibilities

Apply basic acoustics principles to perform studies and support customer deliverables
Collect and analyze acoustic data
Test and troubleshoot acoustic/vehicle systems and components
Present results of testing and analysis to key internal stakeholders
Lead meetings and discussions to collect input to drive decisions

Required

Must have taken courses in, or closely related to Acoustic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Must be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan
Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proficiency with coding in C++, SQL, or ability to learn other languages quickly
Working knowledge of coursework in Acoustics, Recording and Mixing, Digital Signal Processing
Interest in the audio or automotive industry
