Responsibilities

Source, screen, interview, and hire hourly and salaried talent across manufacturing, engineering, and support functions
Build pipelines, map talent markets, and engage passive candidates to meet ongoing production and technical staffing needs
Work closely with supervisors and leadership to understand workforce needs and influence hiring decisions
Ensure timely communication and a professional, welcoming process from first contact through offer
Lead new hire orientation, coordinate schedules, prepare materials, and support a smooth first day experience
Plan, organize, and represent the company at job fairs, hiring events, community workforce programs, and campus recruiting activities
Assist with employee relations, HR documentation, compliance, and policy communication
Build strong partnerships with internal teams, external vendors, staffing partners, and community organizations
Arrange travel for candidates and team members, including flights, hotels, itineraries, and expense tracking
Maintain accurate data in ATS/HRIS systems and generate recruiting and HR metrics, including hands-on work in ADP for employee data, onboarding, and HR transactions
Support social media, events, and outreach efforts to strengthen our presence in the automotive talent market
Provide insights on hiring trends, workforce planning, and process improvements to support long-term operational goals
Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting, onboarding, and HR workflows to keep pace with production demands

Required

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of experience in recruiting or HR generalist roles, ideally in manufacturing or automotive environments
Experience planning or participating in job fairs, hiring events, or community recruiting initiatives
A strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities, with the ability to work independently and follow through to completion
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Experience coordinating orientation, onboarding, or employee programs
Familiarity with ATS/HRIS platforms
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and follow-through

Preferred

Handson experience with ADP (Workforce Now, Recruiting, or related modules)
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish)
