Responsibilities
Supervise, assign, and schedule maintenance technicians for daily tasks and preventive maintenance activities
Respond promptly to equipment and facility breakdowns to reduce operational disruptions
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, regulatory, and company standards
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs; provide regular updates to the Facility Maintenance Manager
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and monitor service quality and adherence to contractual expectations
Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability and facility performance
Qualification
Required
Strong technical knowledge of facility systems, including HVAC a must, electrical, and plumbing
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Minimum 3+ years of experience supervising maintenance teams in industrial, manufacturing, or food production environments
Familiarity with relevant safety, regulatory, and compliance standards
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, and respond quickly to operational needs
Proficiency in maintenance management systems; experience with MaintainX and Procure is a plus
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Associate degree in HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred
Certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related discipline (e.g., EPA 608 Certification, HVAC Technician Certification) strongly preferred
