Responsibilities
Support the team with defining clear acceptance criteria and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and related documentation
Lead the execution of functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across internal applications
Ensure all defects are accurately logged, tracked, prioritized, and resolved within agreed timelines
Uphold QA standards and best practices, driving continuous improvement within the team
Act as a subject matter expert for testing, providing guidance and support to IT teams including Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers
Oversee and manage the day-to-day QA testing process for internal applications, ensuring alignment with project objectives
Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing in collaboration with business stakeholders
Prepare and deliver detailed test progress reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards to the Senior QA Manager
Partner with the Senior QA Manager to maintain and administer test documentation, ensuring compliance with internal company policies and SOX regulations
Additional duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA/testing roles, including at least 3 years in a QA Lead or managerial capacity
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline
Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and query-based testing
ISTQB or TMAP certification (or equivalent) required
Manual experience with Functional Testing
Experience leading a group of QA manual Testers
Experience with Test Management tools, Atlassian Products
Waterfall Methodology experience required
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
Preferred
Hands-on experience with test automation and performance testing is an advantage
Proven track record in testing financial software and cloud-based enterprise applications
Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and knowledge of the aviation industry is an advantage
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
