Responsibilities
Plays key role in the preparation of analytical reports and tools including P&L and cost center performance– interfacing with business units, functional leaders, and other stakeholders
Participates in the company's budgeting/forecasting process to include identifying cost savings efforts, tracking monthly performance, and analyzing, summarizing, and understanding variances to budget/forecast/prior year
Regularly communicates with department managers regarding expectations for preparation and review of budgets, forecasts and actual results relative to expectations
Prepares accurate reporting of variances and works with department managers to develop accurate internal reporting
Ensures that consistent practices are used to maintain integrity of financial data and related systems: researches and reconciles data analysis for accuracy
Performs ad hoc core financial analysis and reporting responsibilities to support internal initiatives and projects focusing on driving efficiency and transparency
Reviews operating results and prepare variance and trend analysis monthly
Prepares company’s business plan, monthly forecasts and variance analysis
Manages capital budgets and appropriation requests
Prepares monthly reporting packages for internal and external reporting
Support EHS objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a preference for a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or equivalent work experience
General understanding of accounting principles
Strong grasp of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail
Ability to multitask and perform in a deadline driven environment
Preferred
1-3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
