Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of data products (pipelines, data models, dashboards, APIs)
Act as Product Owner for agile data teams
Gather & refine business requirements
Translate needs into: User stories, Features, Acceptance criteria
Hands-on SQL validation: Write complex SQL queries, Data reconciliation & verification, Validate outputs before sign-off
Partner closely with: Data Engineers, Data Architects, Analytics teams
Lead cross-functional teams
Communicate progress & outcomes to senior leadership

Required

8–12 years experience
Strong SQL (non-negotiable)
Data Product Owner / Product Manager background
Experience with data platforms & pipelines
Agile / Scrum (PO responsibilities)
Stakeholder & leadership communication
Data validation & quality checks using SQL

Preferred

Cloudera / Big Data platforms
Spark (Python / Scala / Java exposure)
Kafka, HDFS, Hive
NoSQL databases
