Responsibilities
Convert business objectives into clear, stepwise functional requirements for autonomous agents
Create detailed workflow diagrams, decision logic, and state-based models that account for edge cases, failure paths, and real-world complexity
Identify the exact data required for AI agents to operate effectively
Review API documentation and data schemas to define accurate source-to-target mappings
Ensure engineering teams have unambiguous guidance on data dependencies and integrations
Define operational boundaries for AI agents, including constraints, escalation rules, tone, and context management
Partner with stakeholders to ensure agent behavior aligns with business, compliance, and user experience expectations
Act as the primary functional point of contact for AI engineers during development
Clarify requirements in real time and validate that implementations align with functional intent
Identify gaps or ambiguities early and resolve them quickly to keep delivery on track
Develop functional test scenarios grounded in real business use cases
Validate agent behavior, logic, and decision-making prior to release
Ensure AI solutions perform as designed before moving into production
Qualification
Required
7+ years in a Functional Lead, Technical Product Owner, or Business Systems Analyst role delivering complex software solutions
Experience working with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP (S/4HANA or ECC)
Familiarity with cloud-based AI deployments, particularly within AWS environments
Advanced ability to model complex processes using flowcharts, decision trees, and state diagrams
Comfortable producing artifacts detailed enough for engineers to implement directly
Strong ability to read and interpret API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI) and structured data formats (JSON/XML)
Skilled at mapping data fields from upstream systems into functional requirements
Hands-on experience defining logic for AI-driven systems such as autonomous agents, LLM-powered workflows, or advanced rule engines
Proven success in iterative, fast-paced environments
Comfortable shaping loosely defined ideas into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
Preferred
Foundational knowledge of SQL, Python, or ABAP
