Responsibilities

Designing and evolving modern Data & Analytics architectures (batch, real-time, cloud & hybrid)
Partnering with delivery teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions
Defining standards, patterns, and frameworks across Databricks, Azure, Power BI, ML platforms, and ingestion tools
Supporting execution — reviewing designs, advising engineers, solving complex technical problems
Evaluating new tools and capabilities, running POCs, and influencing platform roadmaps
Acting as a technical mentor across data engineering, analytics, and ML teams

Qualification

Required

~7+ years in Data & Analytics Architecture or senior data engineering with strong architectural ownership
Strong Databricks experience (Lakehouse / medallion architecture is essential)
Solid Azure knowledge (data, networking concepts, security patterns)
Experience designing data pipelines, analytics platforms, and ML-adjacent architectures
Comfortable working across teams, articulating technical decisions, and challenging designs constructively

Preferred

Insurance experience is helpful but not required — technical depth matters most
Power BI
Azure ML
Informatica/IICS
