Novaris Search is partnering with a leading Dental Service Organization to find a Director of Revenue Cycle Management. This role will lead and optimize revenue cycle operations, driving performance and standardization while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of revenue cycle policies, procedures, and best practices across a multi‑location environment
Oversee accounts receivable, revenue valuation, and quarterly financial support activities
Analyze key RCM metrics and performance trends; provide actionable insights to improve collections, reduce denials, and accelerate cash flow
Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across the revenue cycle
Lead and manage a team responsible for claim review, investigation, and payer escalations
Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to resolve payer issues and escalations
Monitor payer performance, including denial rates, overturn rates, and reimbursement delays
Conduct root‑cause analysis on escalations and develop corrective action plans
Support payer negotiations, technology enhancements, and M&A integration from an RCM perspective
Educate internal stakeholders on payer policies, escalation workflows, and compliance requirements

Required

Proven leadership experience within DSO Revenue Cycle Management
Strong understanding of payer relations, denials management, AR optimization, and escalation processes
Data‑driven leader with the ability to translate analytics into operational improvements
Strong cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or equivalent professional experience required

Preferred

Experience with practice management and billing systems; Epic and/or Athena experience preferred
5+ years of progressive leadership experience strongly preferred
