Responsibilities

Oversee preparation, review, and submission of key U.S. prudential regulatory reports, including capital and systemic risk filings
Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory reporting risks across products, businesses, and legal entities
Ensure reporting activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal control standards
Perform ongoing reviews to identify gaps, weaknesses, or emerging risks within regulatory reporting processes
Evaluate the effectiveness of governance frameworks and internal controls supporting regulatory reporting
Design and implement enhancements to strengthen controls, documentation, and issue remediation
Support the broader control and risk management agenda through proactive risk assessments and escalation
Analyze regulatory data to identify trends, insights, and impacts to business performance
Oversee regulatory reporting systems and tools, partnering with technology teams on enhancements and integrations
Support data lineage, issue management, and documentation requirements tied to regulatory submissions
Serve as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, including responding to inquiries and supporting examinations
Advise senior management and cross-functional stakeholders on regulatory reporting impacts and requirements
Present complex regulatory information in a clear and actionable manner to leadership
Contribute to regulatory reporting strategy, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives
If managing staff: lead, coach, and develop team members while planning for future resource needs
If operating as an individual contributor: act as a subject matter expert guiding technical direction and mentoring junior professionals

Required

Significant experience preparing, reviewing, and submitting U.S. Federal Reserve regulatory filings, including CCAR-related reports
Strong background in banking or financial services with deep understanding of complex transactions and capital frameworks
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting platforms (AXIOM strongly preferred)

Preferred

Experience with additional regulatory filings (e.g., consolidated capital, liquidity, or international reports)
Knowledge of Basel III frameworks, leverage ratios, and capital adequacy concepts
Experience with data governance, issue management, and data lineage
Accounting or finance background; CPA preferred
