Responsibilities
Own and execute the company’s enterprise-wide HSE strategy aligned with business objectives
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Drive a proactive, values-based safety culture across field, laboratory, and operational environments
Lead incident management, investigations, audits, and corrective action processes
Build and deliver executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and Board-ready reporting
Evaluate, implement, and optimize HSE systems, tools, and training programs
Partner closely with Operations, HR, Quality, and executive leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a lean HSE team supporting multiple locations
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive HSE leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and environmental compliance requirements
Experience supporting field-based, industrial, laboratory, or environmental operations
The ability to influence leaders and operators at all levels of the organization
A track record of strengthening safety culture—not just maintaining programs
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
advanced degree and certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, PE) strongly preferred
