Responsibilities
Provide strategic technical direction
Design, Development and Coding: Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies. (Software Engineers MUST design AND code applications at a minimum.)
Enforce security and compliance standards, and manage software license needs for the team
Collaboration and Communication: Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions
Testing and Debugging: Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting
Maintenance and Support: Support all facets of the Nexus infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues
Deployment: Facilitate and support the software deployment process
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in Agile concepts, Angular, API Security, Azure Databricks, CICD, Cloud Computing, Data Engineering, Data Visualization, Design Thinking, git, Helm, Java and Related Technology, JavaScript, MicroServices (MS), Snowflake, Spring Boot, Terraform
An expert applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results
Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies
Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions
Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science preferred
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted
