Finance Manager
TAIT is a company that partners with artists and brands to create extraordinary live events through innovative technology and design. They are seeking a Finance Manager to lead accounting and finance efforts for their LA-based segment, which includes preparing financial reports, managing project accounting, and collaborating with leadership to provide strategic financial insights.

Responsibilities
Lead finance / accounting for LA-based segment including overseeing the preparation of timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the segment, including working with other members of the Global Finance Team to prepare the monthly reporting package
Participate in the monthly close process through timely preparation and recording of accounting entries in our ERP system
Own project and commercial accounting for LA-based segment, including helping to implement improved processes with variance analysis and reporting
Deliver clear visibility on project costs, margins, and efficiency through improved financial reporting
Provide timely, strategic financial insights to help steer projects from quoting to completion
Manage and track accounting of pass-through revenue and costs for specific projects
Coordinate with executive-level leadership on project status, customer billing, and other financial related aspects of projects
Assist with annual budgeting process
Participate in the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and support related to the segment
Experience with general transactional accounting processes such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, accruals, etc
Assist in the implementation and compliance with systems of internal controls and accounting processes, such as account reconciliations
Other ad-hoc responsibilities may be assigned to meet the needs of the business
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
4 + years of relevant technical accounting experience in industry or with a top-tier accounting or advisory firm (Big 4 preferred)
Licensed CPA (preferred)
Project accounting experience
Strong technical accounting knowledge, specifically revenue recognition, with sound commercial judgement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management, including ability to communicate effectively with leadership
Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving and communication
Attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced private equity-backed environment
Preferred
Licensed CPA (preferred)
Proficiency in ERP systems preferred (E.g. Epicor, Salesforce, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage)
