Responsibilities
Provide trusted advisory to Fortune 1000 public companies
Lead and perform technology assessments in a wide variety of business environments, including assessments of compliance with industry frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and CIS Critical Security Controls
Perform Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) along with the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans (BCPs and DRPs)
Develop Cybersecurity Incident Response Plans (CSIRPs) and facilitate tabletop exercises at the executive and IT levels
Develop information technology and security policies and procedures
Provide trusted advisory services and guidance to clients that will reduce organizational risk and improve their overall cyber security posture
Contribute to the team with tasks such as:
Interviewing selected personnel, gathering, and analyzing information to assess the adequacy of the control environment
Communicating and confirming observations identified in the assessment
Documenting results based on established quality standards
Writing a robust report to communicate results of the assessment to the company’s relevant stakeholders
Collaborating with key management and providing guidance on appropriate resolution of issues, while gaining the confidence and cooperation of the control owners to ensure appropriate input and dialogue on potential risks
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of technology, cybersecurity assessment, or IT audit experience (Big 4 experience is a plus)
A Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Personal qualities like professionalism, dedication, resourcefulness, and eagerness to learn
Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience at multiple levels across the organization
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Willing to learn or apply data analytic tools to audit processes
Ability to work remotely in a home-office environment
Authorization to work in the US, without the requirement for an employment visa or sponsorship
Preferred
CISA designation preferred
PCI QSA, CISSP, or other related designations a plus
