Human Resources & Accounting Specialist
RemX Recruiting Firm is representing a growing, start-up company in West Knoxville that is preparing to go public. They are seeking an experienced Human Resource professional who can also assist with accounting duties, including payroll and accounts payable/receivable.

Responsibilities
Manage recruitment, onboarding, offboarding
Develop & maintain HR policies, handbooks, employee documentation
Oversee payroll, benefits and attendance systems
Support performance reviews, employee matters, & provide guidance
Ensure compliance
Travel to West Virginia once a month to handle HR issues for plants there
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years professional HR experience-- prefer start-up or small business
ADP experience to handle payroll for the company
Strong understanding of payroll, benefits administration and employment compliance
Top communication skills--both oral and written
Preferred
Prefer HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR)
