Infrastructure Engineer/System Engineer
Trilyon, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Teradata Platform Administrator to support, manage, and optimize a large-scale Teradata environment in a regulated enterprise setting. This role is responsible for end-to-end Teradata platform administration, including performance tuning, monitoring, automation, security compliance, and cloud/infrastructure integration.

Responsibilities
Support, manage, and optimize a large-scale Teradata environment in a regulated enterprise setting
End-to-end Teradata platform administration, including performance tuning, monitoring, automation, security compliance, and cloud/infrastructure integration
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on Teradata Platform Administration experience, including database, node management, Viewpoint, TTU, and upgrades
3+ years of experience in Monitoring & observability (PSIM, system health monitoring)
3+ years of experience in Performance tuning and Teradata workload management
3+ years of experience in Teradata backup and recovery
3+ years of experience in Automation and scripting (BASH, Perl, Python, Glink)
3+ years of experience in ETL support
3+ years of experience in Cloud and infrastructure environments
3+ years of experience in Security and compliance in regulated environments
Strong Unix/Linux administration knowledge
Solid understanding of networking and firewall concepts
Working knowledge of statistics and performance analysis
Preferred
Experience supporting Teradata in government, healthcare, or other regulated environments
Prior experience with Microsoft Azure
Exposure to large enterprise or mission-critical data platforms
Strong documentation and communication skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to system health
Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure production issues
Excellent collaboration skills across infrastructure, security, and data teams
