Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end data migration efforts for acquired and legacy companies by analyzing, extracting, transforming, loading, and validating data from source ERP systems into Deltek Vantagepoint
Own and define data migration standards, including source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, validation rules, and reconciliation approaches
Develop and maintain comprehensive migration documentation to track progress, support repeatable processes, and ensure auditability
Partner with business stakeholders and end users to facilitate discovery sessions, understand system usage, and identify data dependencies, edge cases, and historical context
Analyze legacy and third-party ERP systems to determine how source data aligns to the Vantagepoint data model, recommending data remediation or conversion strategies where gaps exist
Provide data analysis and subject-matter expertise to initiatives within the Atlas Data Lakehouse, ensuring consistency between ERP data, analytical models, and reporting outputs
Proactively identify data quality risks and migration issues, escalating and advising on resolution strategies to ensure successful system cutovers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in data analysis, data migration, or system integration roles supporting enterprise systems
Demonstrated experience migrating or integrating data between ERP or large-scale business systems
Strong understanding of relational data models, data quality principles, and data validation techniques
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business processes into data solutions
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, views, stored procedures, and performance troubleshooting
Hands-on experience supporting ERP platforms, preferably Deltek Vantagepoint and/or Deltek Vision, including understanding of core functional data domains (projects, billing, labor, finance)
Strong experience with data mapping, transformation logic, and source-to-target documentation for system migrations
Ability to analyze complex relational data models and translate legacy system structures into target ERP schemas
Experience validating migrated data through reconciliation, exception analysis, and data quality checks
Proven ability to document technical processes, data mappings, and migration runbooks in a clear and repeatable manner
Preferred
Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar professional services ERP platforms
Exposure to acquisitions or legacy system migrations
Familiarity with financial, project, or operational data (e.g., projects, labor, billing, GL)
Experience documenting data mappings, transformation logic, and migration runbooks
Knowledge of modern data platforms or lakehouse architectures
