Compensation Analyst II

Responsibilities
Assist in writing and maintaining job descriptions that adhere to system-wide standards
Provide clear, data-driven guidance on offers and internal promotions
Conduct job pricing using established survey data and analyze pay positioning against market benchmarks
Manage the compensation inbox, respond to inquiries, and escalate complex issues when necessary
Oversee the maintenance of the PayFactors market pricing tool, coordinating survey submissions and tracking timelines
Monitor wage and hour regulations to ensure compliance and reduce risks
Prepare regular reports and handle ad hoc requests related to compensation analysis
Conduct periodic audits of HRIS and compensation data for accuracy and integrity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Four years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply compensation principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas; familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
Basic knowledge of market pricing tools and compensation survey processes
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred
Professional coursework or certification preferred (CCP, SHRM, or HRCI designations)
