Responsibilities
Build and maintain large-scale batch data pipelines, data lakehouse, and analytics systems
Partner with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams to define data requirements and ontology
Lead and mentor junior Data Engineers
Design scalable frameworks to automate analytics workflows
Optimize complex data systems and pipelines for performance and reliability
Work on mission-critical datasets enabling downstream analytics and AI capabilities
Qualification
Required
BS in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
8+ years building scalable ETL pipelines (Airflow, Composer, Oozie)
Strong expertise in SQL, PySpark, or Scala
Experience handling multi-terabyte datasets
Cloud experience: AWS / GCP / Azure
Strong GitOps, CI/CD, and data lifecycle management experience
Experience working with GDPR
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
