Regional Quality Assurance Manager
Confidential company is seeking a Regional Quality Manager who can lead with confidence across multiple manufacturing sites. Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational quality leadership across multiple manufacturing locations
Align plant-level quality teams to standardized systems, customer requirements, and performance expectations
Serve as the senior quality voice—driving accountability while partnering closely with site leadership
Lead implementation and sustainment of global manufacturing quality system standards
Oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits—from preparation through corrective action
Ensure disciplined root cause analysis, corrective action, and change management practices
Act as the escalation point for major quality issues, audit findings, and customer concerns
Lead containment, corrective, and preventive actions for significant quality events
Support customer launches, quality reviews, and ongoing performance discussions
Standardize and strengthen use of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and control plans
Analyze regional quality metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Drive initiatives that reduce scrap, improve yield, and lower cost of poor quality
Lead, coach, and develop plant-level Quality Managers, Engineers, and teams
Build strong quality capability and bench strength across sites
Conduct regular site visits to reinforce standards, assess performance, and develop talent
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
8+ years of progressive quality experience in manufacturing
3+ years leading or influencing quality across multiple sites or complex operations
Hands-on experience in audited environments using global manufacturing quality system standards
Strong knowledge of customer-driven quality systems and launch requirements
Experience in metal fabrication, assembly, welding, or similar process-intensive manufacturing
Proficiency with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and structured problem-solving methods
Ability to influence without authority in matrixed organizations
Strong communicator—from shop floor to executive and customer interactions
Comfortable shifting between strategic oversight and hands-on engagement
Calm, resilient, and accountable in high-visibility quality situations
Approximately 40% travel to support manufacturing sites, customer interactions, and audits
Preferred
Experience in transportation, automotive, or specialty vehicle manufacturing strongly preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a strong plus
