Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership: Lead the design of Digital Product Profiles frameworks supporting complex multi-party relationships with extensible data models
Solution Design & Integration: Create technical design documents, API contracts, and integration patterns for MessageGears, AWS Pinpoint, and Facets claims systems
Security & Compliance: Ensure all architectural designs meet HIPAA, SOC2, and internal security standards, including encryption and least-privilege access patterns
Technical Execution: Build rapid prototypes/PoCs and provide technical guidance through code reviews and mentorship for senior and mid-level engineers
Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary technical liaison between Platform Services, Digital Products, Security, and external vendors
Qualification
Required
18+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture
Hands-on expertise in Go, Python, or Node.js microservices
Deep knowledge of AWS Serverless, Container platforms (Kubernetes), and Terraform (IaC)
Proven experience with Event-Driven Architecture and API Gateway patterns
Strong background in HIPAA-compliant system design and data security
Preferred
Experience with Facets claims systems or healthcare data
Legacy Java/Spring Boot knowledge
AWS Professional level certifications
