Coda Search is partnering with a reputable RE Investment Manager located in the NYC area, and they are seeking to hire an Assistant Controller. This role involves overseeing a team and managing portfolios of commercial properties, preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and leading the annual audit.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze monthly/quarterly fund finance financial statements

Lead overseeing the balance sheet/P&L reconciliations and monthly accruals

Manage the GL and prepare any adjusting entries

Review cash applications for approval

Prepare the CAM reconciliations

Prepare budgets/forecasts for each entity

Oversee the annual audit

Qualification

CPAReal estate fund experienceAdvanced Excel skillsAccounting/Finance degreeCAM reconciliations experienceCommunication skillsPresentation skillsTime management skills

Required

Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or Business

CPA with Public accounting experience

4+ years of real estate fund experience

Advanced excel skills (VLOOKUP's/pivots)

Prior experience with CAM reconciliations

Excellent communication/presentation/time management skills
